Experience

The RIKEN BDR accepts applications from schools and other educational institutions (high school age and older) for group visits to the Center. If you wish to apply for a group tour, please check the BDR website for details about the visit and for the online application form.

Tour overview:

• We accept group tours (5 to 40 people) from educational institutions. (high school age and older)
• Tours are conducted by a Science Communicator in Japanese or English.
• Tours are available from 10 am to 4 pm on weekdays.
  (Please note that tours are not available on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, the New Year holiday period, days RIKEN is closed, and during special events.)
• Tours duration is about 60 to 120 minutes.
• All tours are free.

Fugaku tours in English are currently unavailable

The Fugaku tours, which had not been available for years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, have finally started. However, the tours in English are currently under preparation. We appreciate your understanding.
